EDITORIAL TEMPLATES / VERSION 1

One structure.
Traceable evidence.

Reusable fields for the next peptide profile and study record.

Peptide profile

Identity

Preferred name, aliases, molecular class, mechanism, and original identity source.

Evidence map

Separate laboratory, animal, and controlled human evidence. Distinguish not reviewed from not found.

Research questions

Specific questions studied, with links to original studies. Avoid general benefit lists.

Findings & uncertainty

Outcomes with their model, comparator, time point, and important limitations.

Product & regulatory context

Formulation, jurisdiction, source date, and product-specific status when verified. Do not imply blanket approval.

Safety & gaps

Reported adverse findings, missing evidence, and conflicting findings.

Provenance

Source URL, DOI or PMID, access date, author, study design, and evidence limitations.

Related studies

Links to study records, not suggested personal dosing schedules.

Published study record

Study identity

Study title, peptide, registry ID, DOI/PMID, sponsor, protocol version, and amendments.

Model & eligibility

Species/strain/sex/age or human population; inclusion/exclusion criteria and sample size.

Design & comparator

Randomization, blinding, allocation, control group, setting, and duration.

Reported methods

Study-specific route, formulation, schedule, and escalation context; source section required. Never invent missing methods.

Oversight & monitoring

Ethics/animal-care approval as reported, monitoring, adverse-event collection, and stopping rules.

Outcomes

Planned endpoints versus published results, with denominator, time point, and uncertainty where available.

Adverse findings

Reported harms, withdrawals, and incomplete reporting. Do not equate unreported with absent.

Limits & provenance

Applicability limits; source dates; authorship; study design; evidence limitations.

Publication checklist

Every scientific claim needs a source. Mark unavailable fields explicitly. Keep each conclusion traceable to its supporting source. Keep animal and human records separate, and retain a correction history.
